poor r wont start
hi i just did a poor man r with ctr piston with b16 head
ok the problem is im using stock injectors if i spray starting fluid in there throttle it will start but after it burns all the fluid the motor shuts off im thinking its my injectors not big enough have any of ya try this or have this problem my cuz did a ctr piston gsr and he have stock inector but his start i dont know heellpp

first of all check your cam timing to make sure everything lines up at TDC. If that's good, check to make sure your ignition timing is correct. Are you using adjustable cam gears? what type of cams? are you using any engine tuning such as Neptune etc?

4 basic things an engine needs to run
1) decent compression (above 150 minimum)
2) fuel (make sure the injectors are pulsing)
3) air (obviously its getting air if the intake is off, and u have an open tb)
4) Timed spark. Like mentioned before, make sure that the engine is timed properly. Both ignition and cam timing.
something tells me you havent checked all 4 of those things. If the injectors were too small, the engine should still run, but it would run lean as hell.

check your fuel pump if it's running...it would also help if you have some fuel in the tank. does your fuel gauge work?? just making sure these simple items were checked off the list
