Default Check engine light

the only mod i have done to my car is the MPFI swap only have 87k miles on my engine. i have 2 problems that always happen.

my ECU is flashing twice slowly then 15 fast. like this... ....blink...blink....blink.blink.blink.blink.blink 15 times.

i think its my distrubtor. is there a way i can clean a dizzy? or do i have to get a new one

#1. when i turn my car on in the morning, sometimes it shuts down 3-4 times right when i start it up. after those times it will not shut off again until it is cold again.

#2. when i'm cruising sometimes, my check engine light will come on if i hold my gas pedal down for to long. so i have to always drive by pressing gas pedal every now and then instead of just steady and cruising. when the light comes on smoke will come out my exhaust when pressing on the gas pedal. so i shut my car off while rolling and turn it back on so the light isnt on. no more smoke comes out of my exhaust but when the light comes on again it will start to smoke again, then i have to repeat.

i have no i dea why and what these probalems are so please let me know if you have a clue or anyhting about whats wrong with it.

What he means by codes is what codes are your ecu throwing. Pull up the carpet on your passenger side footwell, find your ecu and find the flashing light. Count the number of flashes and compare that to a key online (I think there's one in the FAQ), if your check engine light is coming on your ecu will be throwing a code.

My car would do this and I replaced the main relay and it fixed it. Gotta find out the codes first.

Sounds like you have multiple codes. It will blink once when you turn on the ignition switch immediately. That is normal and does not mean any codes. It's the blinks after that. So you might have code 1 and 15. Code 1 being 02 sensor.
