No Light on my ECU!!
What dose that mean when the light on the ECU isn't on? I'm having some problems on my car and I think it might be the ECU. I still get the check engine light when I turn the key to start it. But other then that i'm not throwing any codes.
So you jumped the service check connector and no codes... the check light should go on for a second everytime you go to start up.
Now if it stays on after you start it up, then you should be throwing codes.
Your ecu light should not be on at any time.
It should only blink after the check connector is jumped telling you your problems.
What kind of problems are you having?

Well 88-91 Civic/CR-X ECUs don't have to be jumped with a 2 pin connector to flash codes. They have a red LED that will blink codes if the key is in the "on" position in the ignition.
I think his concern is he had no red LED, but that either means he has no codes being stored, or the LED is out, or I suspect he might have an 88-89 Integra ECU guts in a Civic case like I used to have, in which case the LED is in a totally different spot and a sight hole has to be drilled to see codes.
I coud be totally off on that lsst theory, but I know from first-hand experience it can happen.

Haha awesome. I thought I'd get a hadful of "WTF are you talking aboiut?!" replies.
I didn't even realize this for a while when my CEL would come on and I'd never get the flashing LED code to show up. I then realized the ECU I'd purchased from a friend was a PG7 is a PM9 STD ECU casing.
The PG7's case usually sits under the Integra's seat and it's LED sight is on the side of its case rather than on the top panel - I know you know this, but others readng may not and can't figure why we'd drill a hole in an ECU case.
We put PG7 guts in the EF Civic/CR-X casing because it doesn't bolt in the EF location.

Sorry guys, its a 88 crx hf. By me meaning it's not throwing any codes is the blinking led. it's an obd0 pm8. I'm having fuel issues. The pump primes. The car runs without an issue when I use starter fluid. I was under the impression that it stayed on while the car is on.
I also looked at the main relay it clicks when I turn on the car.
I apologize for not being on lately, thank you for your responses.

Sounds like you are getting no fuel
Can you hear the pump prime or not, if no then its your pump, if it primes and you have fuel to the rail, check the resistor box
