Default Susp. Insight please!

I am switching up my suspension on my 2000si, i have been riding on (G/C-Agx combo) but 2 of the agx's blew out, so i wanna go back to my stock si springs and koni yellows and just use the adjustable spring perches for a tiny bit of drop with my si wheels.

Will this combo ride farely smooth/sporty? Never used yellows but hate my agx's!

Also will i need to leave my skunk 2 front/rear camber kits on for alignment or should i swith back to factory?

Ditching the AGXs for Konis will probably be the best move you're likely to make. They should work fine with a stiffer than stock spring, so I don't see the need to move back the OE coils, unless the GC springs are quite stiff and you're after a softer ride? Keep in mind that a lot of ride harshness comes from the damper rate rather than the spring rate, but you tend to need stiffer damper rates with stiffer springs...

I have Konis on stock springs on my CB7, and they make a huge difference over the stock dampers (much 'sportier' at 1/8th turn from full stiff). The CB7 springs are way too soft though, I would like somewhat stiffer ones to go with the Konis. With stiffer springs I suspect the Konis could be run somewhat softer, instead of using (mis-using?) them as ersatz stiffer springs...

As to the perches, dunno...

yea he.s rite. .the springs should be the same dia but jus test fit em befo u put em on n see if they will work. .as far as the camber kits u could jus leave em on n adjust accordingly. .jus get errything realigned when u do the swap back.

well when i put my g/c's with my agx's when the coil was all the way up the car was still pretty low, and for daily driving i would like to go a bit higher, not factory height but just a slightly lower/sportier, yet smoother ride. plus don't koni's have a good warranty?

I've had Koni Sports for about 6.5 years and over 160K miles and they still work great. I've had H&R Sport springs and GC's with 380/450 f/r rates, but for the past few years I've been riding on stock GS-R springs up front and stock ITR springs in back (for a more even ride height), and the perches on the lowest setting. Works pretty well.
