Default help!! my brakes suck

Ok when my car is off, i hold my brakes and they travel to the floor. When the car is on it does the same thing but faster and i'll pump them and they'll build pressure but drop back down. I bled them a bunch of times but still the same thing. Any help will be apprieciated.

you better check the master cylinder if everything is working properly, all the break lines as well...

it sounds to me like there is a leak in the lines somewhere... check all the lines if they are leaking and also under the Master cylinder, check for any leakage

Check for missing paint on the brake booster behind the master cylinder. Leaking m.c. would show on the brake booster near where the pistons goes into it.

I found it actually to be cheaper to buy w/ old trade in, a rebuilt then to buy a rebuild kit for the MC...
They even come with the bench bleeding kit.

it sounds like the seal inside of the brake booster is bad take the brake booster out and push the center of it wher the peddle pushes the rod into it and if its spongy or soft its bad

Did you take of the rear drums to see if wheel cylinders are leaking? You could have a cut seal inside the master cylinder causing your condition. IF you got good pressure at a stop then the pedal slowly goes to the floor is a classic symptom of a bad master cylinder.
