I got a 88 CRX SI that wont start. Its got a D16z6 I just put in it. I have spark. When I start it, it starts but dies. It starts only for about one second then dies. I am trying to keep the car on an obd-0 ecu.

is your fuel pump priming

 

are you using an OBD0 dizzy? Did you convert it to MPFI? There are a lot of unanswered specifics you left out.

 

i got an si crx. im using an obd-1 dizzy. and the fuel pump is working

 

Are you getting good fuel pressure? You take a look at the main relay, doesn't hurt.

 

Did you convert it to MPFI? being that the car is an si means it is already mpfi

 

tps sensor ??? r u using obd1 or obd o injectors

 

i am using obd-0 injectors.

 

you can't use OBD1 distributor with OBD0 ECU - if you want to run it OBD0, you need OBD0 distributor - there are none that will bolt right on to a Z6 head

 

i would highly rceommend that you get a P28 OBD1 ECU and OBD0 to OBD1 ECU jumper and run it OBD1 - otherwise, you have no way to control fuel and ignition timing at VTEC engagement
