Del Sol Projector HID's
OK, we all know the headlight beam patern from the Del Sols get you more flashes from oncoming drivers than any vehicle on the planet. They spill light in all directions but down in front of you, on the road don't they.
There are a few threads here, but nothing of any real value.
I've rearched the net and cannot find any for sale.
So I guess it's make em yourslef time.
Has anyone and information which units fit best.
Also it must have hi-low capability either a solenoid positioner or a simple halagen for high beam.
Anyone have any thoughts ?

I've searched many times but got nothing of any real use. Seems the search function isn't too good.
I'll check the loighting forum manually, thanks for the suggestion.

If you are looking to do a HID retrofit on the headlight I suggest you go do your researching at HidPlanet.com/forums. They have lots of experienced retrofitters that could answer your question.
About have hi and lows you can buy Bi-Xenon projectors and retrofit them into your headlights and still retain both your low and high beam. Its a simple process of just hooking up your high beam wires to a solenoid to activate the high beams.
I'm might be buying a del sol soon and if I do I'm going to do a HID retrofit on it. I'll create a thread if you are interested..

I would just go with a retrofit. It'll be much worth it.

Just perfect , I have some fx35 projectors coming.
Do you think you might give some more info on positioning of them into the reflectors.
I'm planning on using a pair of jdm's which were of little use before.
More photos ?

Looks good, give us more, I'm ready to go on this.
One question, I have the solenoid plug from a wiring harness from an fx35 but need to know what exactly drives the coils, is it 12vdc through a realy from the hi beams, or some other off the wall method from the ecu (like 5vdc) . I don't want to burn things up before I get em on the road.
