So i understand that completing a 5 lug conversion on an ef can be beneficial for brake upgrades.

Is that the only plus for doing such a conversion?

yeah wheels choices, and to show you have cash like everyone else says, but theres a thread somewhere that has more info for 5 lug than just wheels or saying you got cash.

 

i know the rear bolts right on, something with the front needed some machining for the hubs/spline. not sure.

Most people neeeeeed a 5 lug conversion to keep the lugs from snapping off when the car has a turbo! I know someone that would twist their lugs from too much power.
