Default HC - H2 cams allowed?

Ok so it doesn't say cams are not allowed but it doesn't say cams are allowed. I therefore am assuming that any aftermarket camshaft would not be legal in a H2 head.

Am I right in assuming that?

That is correct!
The B16 is allowed the use of ITR/CTR cams and the D series can use any cam, but that's it!
No other engine is allowed the use of a cam change in h2!

thats not an H2 legal motor.

In the opening pages of the rule book it says, "if it does not say you can do something in this rule book, then you can not."

I do see the confusion that comes from the H2 cam stuff, brought it up to the rules guys. that it only needs to state what motor can use a different then OE cam. But they felt it didn't add to the confusion....

that is the easiest way to understand the rule book. if it dont say you can do it, you cant.

Last time I looked at the HC portion of the CCR there was a little chart that listed cams for the engines. Said something like "OEM" for everything except D-series and B16.

And just to be sure, you did catch that bit about B20VTEC being an H1 motor, right?
