Dumb question of the day....

I hate to ask this, but where exactly is the oil filter on a b16a (Civic SI)? I popped the hood and looked around and can't find it. I also looked under the car and didn't see it.

Check the back of the engine. If i remember correctly, you should be able to look just under the intake manifold and see it sticking off towards the rear.

haha! that's exactly the reason i didnt put my H brace on!
but to the OP, the filter is on the backside of the engine. if you plan on removing it yourself, you will have to do so from underneath a properly jacked and supported car.

No they don't.
Generally speaking the 88-00 D series, B series, H series (except for the Type SH), and F series all have the filter there, but there are plenty of them that have the filter elsewhere.
