looking to pick up an ITR here in the near future and my insurance agent is an idiot or maybe just doesnt understand the situation. but the ITR that im looking to purchase has a salvaged title. i have another friend with a car he says his insurance company (different than mine) wouldnt insure cuz it has a bad title too.

company in question would be Progressive, i have emailed them just waiting to hear back.

also any feedback on R owners that are insured threw Progressive would be nice too. good/bad/ugly?

 

most insurance will insure it. I dont see why not. They might not insure it for full coverage but you can still get liability for it.

 

i used to work for triple a insurance here in so cal.
on my salvaged titled gsr, they insured it and state farm did as well.
it's pretty much exactly the same as insuring a clean titled car, with fender benders and such costing the same..except for when the car is a total loss. you will probably get a little less than what a clean titled car of the same year/comparable mileage/condition would get.
