Default question x2

I am looking to change out my exhaust. I want to get a dual catback exhaust, but I cant find any. Will I have to fabricate one myself or does anyone know where i can get one. Also, I am swapping my h22 out for a k23 and was wondering if anyone knew the dimensions for the exhaust manifold. Is it 4:2:1 or 4:1?

thanks guys

92 prelude guy

you can get either 4:2:1 or 4:1. its just 4 pipes coming off the block going to 2 then to 1, or just 4 pipes coming off the block going into 1. personally i like the sound of the 4:1 headers better, it gives it more a rap the the exhaust. About the dual catback, you might have to make it yourself or take it down to an exhaust place and they can do it for you for about $200 maybe (rough guess).

isnt the k23 the rdx engine? i dont know if the engine bay is big enough for that engine without serious modification(especially since its a top mount intercooler set up)...havent seen it done but GL to ya if you go through with it...oh yea and my opinion, dual exhaust on a prelude is just ugly stick with an n1 style exhaust

Yeah i will fit, hasbro has the mounts for it. We actually dropped it in, but took it out due to painting and other stuff. I have a j35 engine that i was wanting to put in, but not sure it will fit. just sitting around. Reason I wanted the dual cat was because I really havent seen many with it. I guess you are right about the look, but I want something different. and plus the 240hp turbocharged engine will need that extra pipe i guess.
