Default I got my Rex back...kinda upset.

After 3 months with no car my CRX is back on the road!!! YES!!! and no. Has anyone ever been away from their car so long that you feel uncomfortable in it? I just don't feel right driving anymore, I don't like it. But I will keep my car!!

Anyways the technical part. For all us cable tranny users. I start the car and about 1 minute into warm up it starts to sputter and die. BUT, I start to loosen the clutch cable and the idles come up to normal. hmmmm. Then I jump in to drive and I can't get it in gear. hhhmmmmm.
Very strange. I know I am about 1/2 quart low on tranny fluid. Motor=stock LS, clutch&fly=reused from old setup. Cable=LS Integra.

Every shift I have to put the pedal to the floor. It worked fine on my old setup.
Thanks all....its good to be back.

I wonder if the clutch cable isnt touching any part of the accelarator cable...cant imagine adjusting the clutch would affect idle...Maybe I should do that too because my idle's been inconsistent...lol

umm well it sounds like your clutch is way out of adjustment and maybe your shift linkage.......

Try adjusting clutch using a manuel to do it right.....

have fun rexing

Thanks all. The cable was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay out of whack. It needed to be tighter.

Now it just stalls out at lights and when its cold. I am sure that it is bubbles in my coolant system. I never bled it..

i feel your pain, i had to spend nine months away from my baby with no engine in it. not to mention i was 1000 miles away and it drove me nuts!!! all is well. got it running with a B16 and it is good to be back. to bleed your coolant, just run the car with the radiator cap off, and when the thermostat opens and the fan kicks on, add enough to come close to filling it all the way. hope that wasn't too confusing.

I went from a lifted Cherokee (4" suspension lift, 2" body lift, 32" Tires) for 4 years, straight to a lowered rex. (lowered 2.5")

I still feel like my *** is dragging on the ground, even after 4 months of daily driving...
