That's the best for the car.
Unless you're trying to race....which is what it sounds like. In that case it just depends on the conditions. Good tracks usually have alot of grip on the surface which means you should probably launch around 4.5K and feather the throttle to avoid excessive wheel-hop. But of course not all tracks are the same and you just have to adapt to the different surfaces.
On surface streets it's a different story. If the street isn't "grippy" enough or your tires are crap you could launch from 2K rpms mash the throttle and light up the tires all the way to redline.
It all just depends on the road surface. There's no set RPM that works on all surfaces. Best bet....launch at a midway point and if you feel the tires breaking loose excessively....back off the throttle until you get some grip and then go to town.
