i recently swapped my jdm b16 from an eg into my hatch and i was clearin up my codes and found that i cant find my map sensor.... i know most hondas have it right on top of the manifold near the throttle body... but im thinking maybe the mani was swapped before i got the engine? any ideas please let me know

If yes, then maybe you dont see one, because there isnt one haha.

 

yeah i am pretty sure i dont have one since i couldnt find it looking quickly but i am throwin the code so it seems like thats the case i was just wondering where it would be

 

well, it should be on top of the tp, if it isnt then maybe someone swapped manifolds and you have the pgmfi mani, which would mean either they mounted it on the back side of the intake/tp, or its just hangin there like mine. Or it could even possibly be mounted on the firewall, but shouldnt have been unless someone did it themselves.

 

yeah im checkin cuz i think im gunna set up an external map sensor and run it off the vacum but it could have been a swapped mani or t/b i have no idea but i guess ill find a way to make it work
