Need Help On new Springs for My GC's
Hello.
Well i just found that my springs on my Ground control's are kind of Softs and maybe shorts. I would seen this befre but i didnt now anything about Spring Rates.
Here is my car set up.
Civic Sir Coupe '00 EK Boosted
Front Springs GC200.64.58 Height 7.8 Inch Rate 324 P/I
Rear Springs GC180.64.44 Height 7 inch Rate 246
Shocks Koni Yellows
Rear 19mm sways bar - tie bar combo, 7 Function LCA's
I'm not quiet sure if the math is corret though but if it is. they are kind of Soft don't and short don't you think.
Now i know why my front coils are bottom out. and why car feels so bumpy.
My car is my daily drive, i push hard on the car every day. and i want to lower it to 1.5 to 2 inches gap from tire to fender.
If anybody has something similar on an EK would you please give me some feed back on Spring Rates or any input wold be more than welcome.
Thanks in advance guys

yes you can buy the springs only, keep in mind a pair of GC custom springs are $100 or so if i'm correct. So your looking at $200 for a whole set. As for the right spring rates that fit your needs, that would be up to you. What is this car used? Do you do any autocross/tracking?

PM vtecvoodoo, he works for Eibach and can hook you up with some Eibach springs for a reasonable price. He can give you some advice on what rates to run as well. I like my 450fr/400rr on my G3 Integra. Mild street and track steup.
