thoughts and opinions pls..i have a bone stock gsr right now with just bolt ons. I plan on building it up soon in the near future. Now, I was thinking somewhere in the lines of gsr block,ls crankshaft and rods,pr3 pistons, b16 head with type r cams. Has anyone ever seen or heard of the combo before? Just curious as to if this would work or not.

i know theres plenty of info on lsvtec and poor man type r, but what I was wondering was is if the combination i listed works and if someone actually has a motor like that. Im not asking whether or not I should do a lsv or a poor man r, but thanks.

Oh i never heard of this exact setup before but man those type r cams will getcha! goodluck

 

im in the middle of the same thing wit an 84mm bore. if ur gonna do it do it big.
