Well i am planning on going but i have never been to CMI before.

Basically the only thing i want to know is...

First Day is Qualify and eliminations? Second day is the ???

So its like the wed night fun drags? you loose you go home?

Im hoping to get into the 11's finally....

 

Qualifying and eliminations are both on sunday.

 

Mr Sumo...I hope to watch the activities...most likely wont be running.

Saturday's are usaully practice runs when they hold 2 day events. Sundays are usaully eliminations.

 

My car was going to be there...........but I broke my wrist.

90 hatch w/ fully built b16( revs to 10,500)
90 crx with b16
98 coupe w/ ls/vtec turbo running 8lbs.
97 tacoma with 150 shot

Not this weekend, but next weekend is CMI. I may be there Saturday, unfortunately can't make it on Sunday. When you gonna race wuhungsixxx???

 

haha very soon...just got my car BARed last week...still need to register the thing...its been over 1.5 years and i will soon be able to drive the little bastard...you will see me eventually at raceway

and I might be there...but only on Saturday.. just wanna see how my car stands at where it is right now in the 1/4 mile....stock with AEM CAI.... if I at least hit high 14s... I'll be ok...

 

I might be a crazy *** **** and try to do Battle of the Imports (Famoso) on Sat nite then drive up 99 to CMI on Sunday morning...nope not to watch, but to race at both events.

I'm gonna be at Battle fo sho though, that's where all the big names are gonna be to watch...

now about 5 more reno cars will be running from the shop i work at. My friends 240sx is shooting for an 11.9 pass. we've been working late the last week or so in preparation.

 

good luck to all yall runnin at CMI. its gonna be 100+ degrees out at sac raceway. $40 to race on sunday.. $60 for both days i think. in case any of you didnt know.

just curious how everyone did, i was there and i'd like to know who ran and what they ran, my friend Tu did great, hit a 12.07 in his 240sx daily driven with a trap of 110mph but a shitty reaction of .924, so really he's in the 11's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! his 60ft's were in the 1.6's. the rest of my crew didn't do very well at all, our best was Jeromy's hatch who ran a 13.7 with his allmotor b16 daily driven. and Brandon's b20 hatch ran a 14.1 full interior dailydriven with a 50shot.

Reaction time has nothing to do with ET....so if he ran a 12, he ran a 12 not an 11.
