Hey guys i thought i remember reading on here somewhere that if theres a certain cable unplugged from the radio, that it locks the ecu? Anyone know what im talking about...or did the deal hook me up with some crack?

The 96-98 Civic keyless entry doesn't work if the OEM radio is not installed. That is about the closet thing I have heard to your story.
