Hey all,
I'm going to be leaving for college on the 19th and have decided that since I won't be needing a car at all freshmen year, I'd post it up and see if I could get what I'm asking for it.
The car has been great to me since I bought it in the spring of 2007. When buying it, I inquired about leather seats, moonroof, etc.; the normal GSR options available. As soon as I asked about these, the seller took note and was happy that someone interested in owning a DB8 was calling, not someone interested in a new car. Obviously, the car was taken care of by the previous owner!
Since I've had it, it has received routine maintenance:
-New timing belt, water pump, radiator, power steering belt, exhaust gaskets at 109,000
-New A/C pulley and belt at 124,000
-Oil changed regularly
The car was repainted by the previous owner because of some slight hail damage. I recently bought a Porter Cable and buffed some of the swirls out. The paint is in good condition. Normal wear for a 10 year old car. Few dings, and scratches. Personally, nothing too horrible.
The only real problem that I have with the car's exterior are some small (1.5") dents that popped up in a row on top of the driver's side fender. I walked out from school one afternoon and noticed one dent on the fender. I thought that someone had dropped their backpack on it or something. Normal H/S stuff. Two days later, another popped up. I started to question where they were coming from. The following weekend was Thanksgiving weekend and my car was on jacks in my garage getting some Koni Yellows, GC, and OmniPower RLCAs. Within a 4 day period of the car being no where but my garage, the same fender got 3 more dents.
It seemed to be a chain reaction from the first dent, but I still don't know where they came from.
The interior is in great condition. It runs like a champ and has been my daily since I bought it. Nothing but compliments for this car. It would be a wonderful DD for someone needing one or a good start for a project car.
Mods:

Ground Control Coilovers with 350F 400R spring rates

Thank you,
Brett
