I BOUGHT A 08 CIVIC LX LAST MONTH, IT HAS ONLY 1700 MILES ON IT NOW , BUT THE LEFT FRONT STRUT IS ALREADY DEAD. I BROUGHT THE CAR BACK TO THE DEALER YESTERDAY. AND THEY SAID THEY WILL REPLACE THE STRUT TOMORROW UNDER WARRANTY. BUT THIS IS REALLY SUCKS FOR ME.

 

why?they are replacing it.

that's what the warranty is for. what's the point of this thread?

 

honda has used sub-par suppliers to cut corners, and this is what happens. from the sun visors to the struts to the door detent arms.

it's a sign of the times....thankfully they do give us a warranty, but if you have any sort of life it's not very convenient to go back and forth to the dealership.

i feel your pain OP, but try to chill out with using all CAPS.
