Shock Tower seperated from frame
Found a Civic on craigslist with shock tower sperated from frame, and needs to be welded back together. If it were to be welded back together, would there be any other problems to look out for. The guy still drives the car, but don't how it drives.
I'm assuming the car was in a really bad accident for the shock tower to seperate from the frame, as the air bags were deployed also.
So while I wait for him to respond back to my email, I hope to get some input from you guys first, Thanks

Re: (310sieg)
sounds like the shock was forced through the sheet metal of the top of the shock tower.
My buddy did this to his car by lowering it too much and not getting aftermarket shocks. Eventually the upper control arm bashed it's way through the tower. The crackis only a few inches long and he still drives it to this day.
I would personally be weary of all other other things that are wrong with the car that you can't see.
Salvaged title, you'll never be able to sell for much.
