Is a (1994)d15z1 better then a (1991)d15b2?

And what tranmission is better (5 speed)?

If your going to do a mans swap then get a B18 or larger, I'd call the B16 more of a little boys swap.

The Z1 is a ODB1 and the B2 is OBD0.

What do you plan on using the car for? Then we can answer your question about transmissions.

well my d15b2 is about to go because at higher rpms in pours out smoke bad! for the tranmission i mean good all around. normal driving and smoken cars from time to time.


the b18a swap would be great but that is like 2-3k for the swap

btw it is a 4 Door civic NOT a CRX

Sounds like you have worn rings. I do too. I have a D15B2 as well and the rings are worn too. But since you wanna do a swap go all out and be done with it. Too bad you weren't closer, I'd wanna buy your old motor.
