does anyone know where the firewall for the 06 Civic LX is?

or a way to get a 12 gauge wire from the battery to the inside of the car?

im trying to add some leds under the dash and i need that wire from the battery to the inside..

i cant find the firewall hole .. any ideas?


side note: does anyone know how to find the dome light wire for a 94 Honda Accord LX? i want to add undercar LEDs so when the doors open the lights go on..

Are you kidding? The firewall is the big piece inbetween the dash and engine bay that goes the width of the car. It should have holes in it already with rubber gromets in them with factory wires running through. There usually is at least one going through on the drivers side that I usually use. You can use an existing hole or drill your own however if you do that make sure it's nothing on either side you will drill into.
Then run the wire through that to whatever you want to run it to. Pretty simple.

 

well you haven't dealt with a Civic.. they dont really have any holes at all.. sealed perfectly and cnat reach them.. shows how much you know.

Didn't say I knew where the holes going through where just said that's where the firewall is.
