I recently bought an 03 Accord LX abought 2 weeks ago. I haven;t really drove it much but after driving it for 2 days, I noticed that theres a weird sound when I change transmissions however when I drive normally it goes away. It sounds like puh puh puh puh puh puh puh. Anyone have any clue why? My first car so Im a noob. Thanks

 

If it's making a slight gear noise while driving it's because of the shifter and that's normal when you install an aftermarket shifter because the aftermarket shifter is not insulated like the stock one. If it's only a slight noise it's normal and I wouldn't worry about it but if it's a loud noise have your transmission inspected.

its actually an automatic btw. It does that when I change from R to D. its a small noise that you wouldnt notice unless I turn the radio off. is it normal?
