I wouldn't buy used springs(i wouldn't buy any suspension part used, too much at risk when going above the speed limit). I have the eibach sportline and they work for me.

I bought a set of used Eibach ProKit springs and have had NO problems at all. - Eaibach still honors the warranty provided they have not been altered in any way.

I got both. Actually I got H&R (Back then made Neuspeed) on my 97, and GF got Eibach on her 02.

The big difference is one is H&R is progressive while Eibach is liner rate. When push hard, they both are about the same. Progressive is softer like stock at low speed, so therefore smoother. Eibach is firm all the time, and you do feel more bumps on the road.

I do feel Eibach is much sharper, and handling seems crisp. H&R is more stock like, and comes to life after you push or lean into a corner. Again, they are rather equal. They just go about it in different ways.

The comparison is on different year Civics, but I think that 's a fair conclusion.

Springs do last a lifetime, and low tech stuff. But I would still rather buy new. You never can really tell if one of them is somehow damaged.

i wouldnt buy either....H&R produces the best progressive rate springs available today! I have a 95 ej with H&R races...and just sold my sports! Get good shocks with them...dont think about using stock shocks with these springs!

Both are very good spring companies, though for ride quality I give the nod to Eibach.
