BB turbo's....any others then the GT's?....
yup turbonetics are the cheapest bb turbos. some actually don't consider turbonetics' ceramic bb as being a TRUE bb....but they work ok.
JDM Garrett T28, but you knew that already.
If the one from the S15 Silvia is too small for you, the Pulsar GTiR one uses a larger turbine housing.
Sonny
You have any pictures of that turbo?
That turbo seems like it would be a great option, but I don't want to pick it and have no idea what it looks like.
.......can't beleive I'm asking this AGAIN!!!........but what is the HP potential for this turbo?
Thank's Sonny

Louis Anaya (TurbochargedSER) says that the Nissan guys report that they can get about 260whp with this turbo and that it spools by 2500rpm on an SR20. The Pulsar GTiR T28 uses a .86 a/r exhaust turbine and is good for about 300-320whp.
Nobody seems to have much experience with this turbo in the Honda scene, so I guess I'll be one of the first. I'm looking to make about 225 whp, so I think the Silvia T28 will do the job.

I got mine for $495. It was used, but as you can see from the above pics, it is in perfect shape!

What flange do those turbo's use?
You got that turbo From Anaya right?....I think I might IM him about one of those.
Right now I'm thinking of getting the Pulsar turbo, port/clip/rebuilding it, so it will be able to support a little more power.
What DP housing does that use?....the DSM one wouldn't fit would it?....to me they seem pretty similar.
(THANK'S A TON for those pics!)

The turbine flange is a T25. I'm going to use an HKS cast iron manifold with mine. I did not buy the turbo from Louis. He didn't have any used ones and the price of a new one was a little out of my reach at the time. I know that he sells the Pulsar GTiR T28 new.
I don't know if the DSM downpipe/discharge flange will fit. I'm not that far yet, man.
Ask me in 2 months (hopefully).

Here is some pics of my BB turbo (IHI RX6)

BTW, are you SURE the GTi-R turbo is BB?
Late model jap SR20 in the Silvia yes, but RNN14? I don't think so.

Yeah just talked with TurboChargedSER....The Pulsar's are NOT BB.
Guess I'm buying a T3/T4 derivitive.
How much are the IHI turbo's?

You an go with a Garrett GT25. It has the same turbine side as the Pulsar GTiR T28, it has a ball bearing center section, and has a T04S compressor housing which can flow 55 lb/min. I can get these turbos as well.
Are these internally gated?
OH BTW, how do you like your TypeR bov? Sound nice?
