Default firewall

does anyone know where exactly is the firewall hole for the civic?

06 Civic LX sedan

i looked last time and found something toward the passenger side but dont think thats it? either way i couldn't get in there.

i just need to be able to pass a wire there because my gf wants me to hook up some spare blue LEDs under the dash.

pictures would help greatly

side note: any way to "tap" into the courtesy light (dome light).. mostly on how to "find" the wire. if im not able to do the Civic stuff i want to use those lights as under car LEDs.. but only as courtesy lights when i open the door. so when the dome light goes on the LEDs go on. and then off.. my car: 94 Accord LX sedan

This is Honda's install manual for their courtesy lights. If you're doing the same thing with your own parts, then this should help.

If you're going to come straight from the battery then the power is always on, right? why not use a key-on power source like you're supposed to? why run to the battery? You just want one extra thing to turn off before you get out of the car?

no.. thats why you add a switch.. its better.. cuz you cant turn it off for any reason when the lights are on if you do it your way plus its better never to touch any car wiring if possible to not damage anything...

(figured it ouut already) latee..
