Default 2000 gsr in 98 civic, code 22 VTEC pressure valve?

i recently just threw a cel for vtec pressure valve, i have been driving the car for months and has been crossing over fine until now, i checked my oil level, took another switch off of my friends gsr that i know works, and still has a code, cleaned the screen in the soleniod and tried grounding it. nothing, when i run my 2000 gsr computer at vtec it bucks and sputters and with my chipped obd1 ecu it revs past vtec engagement but doesnt crossover and sounds like crap, i hate bringing it past 5 with no vtec so i want to get this fixed.

anyone have any other suggestions?

Thats crazy the same cel came on in my 99 gsr...do you think it would go on because of too much oil? I had a p73 ecu in and it worked fine...i threw in the p72 thats comptech tuned and the cel 22 goes on when i get into vtec engagement second time around..

I just got back from playin around with the wiring to the ecu...turns out it was the green/yellow vtec wire...i removed the vafc that came with the car and i guess that wire wasnt soldered back together too good and it dropped the oil pressure at the solenoid making the cel 22 switch not reading pressure during vtec

yeah mine throws the code before i even start my car, ill reset my ecu and turn the key on and it will go through the cycle and come on, i dropped it off at my uncles who has been a mechanic for 30+ years and he sed it is something with the wiring, but it doesnt make sense that the car ran perfect for like 4 months.
