Default shaking while driving?????

My cousin drive a really crappy 95 2door civic dx.

Change his brake pad, rotors, and oil change also used set of wheels with tires that bought for 70.OEM steelies with weights that i saw on the lip.

He told me that his car shake while driving, but when he hit the brake it doesn't shake.

I even think he got bad wheel bearing because his car get louder when he drive faster.

sound like those mudding truck tires.

So what could be the problem??? bad bearing could cause this or tires need to be balance????

it can't be the new rotor i install, because they shake if only you hit brake. Meaning that the rotor are warp.

wow.. i feel even more stupid after trying to read what you typed.

anyways, yeah the wheel bearing will cause it. mine is doing the same thing right now, and i already know its the wheel bearing. jack the car up, and try to shake the two front tires, like side to side. do one at a time, and if they have a lot of play, its that wheel bearing. the back however, is harder to tell because it ownt shake liek the front. If your in the car and there is a loud howling noise, is the rear wheel bearing. when he is driving, tell him to turn the wheel right or left and see if there is a noise change, that will also tell you if its a wheel bearing. listen inside the car for the side it sounds like it is coming from also. good luck.

sorry,my english isn't that great.

Didn't shake before when he had those boo boo steelies.

Just happen right after i put used tires with steelies on, that he bought for 70.

When i change all his stuff it was shaking like crazy till we pump air in the tire because it was little flat.

Guess the tires need to be balance?

they could need balanced, check the tires (if he can isolate it to one side great) for unusual wear patterns or problems with the tread. I have had 2 tires in the past 6 months on oem steelies do this.
