I had this happen before. I ended up doing a complete build. I ran an 89mm stroke and an 85mm bore. I ran with a stock LS crank and Carrillo rods. I never had a problem. I would have the crank checked before spending the money for the extra 2mm of stroke. If you do sell your ITR crank, they go for A LOT more than a used LS crank does. Also, if you plan on using cast pistons, keep the ITR crank. The counter weights are there for a reason. If you go with forged pistons, no need to have those additional counter weights on the ITR crank. Good luck.

I currently have and Eagle crank in my 2.0 C5 turbo motor , no complaints , seems to be same as stock
EDIT :

Now that i read your second post , my opinion changes to , Maybe , you should get a set of CTR pistons , for less than 200 , youll feel more power from those pistons wayyyyy more than the crank and rods

more then likely your stock crank is junk if you spun the bearing good...not worth having it turned, its never the same as stock.

if you do get a eagle crank have it checked...i've seen some have out of round journals.

another option for the stock crank is this company http://www.marinecrankshaftinc.com/

good luck
