Default Car has trouble starting..but starts eventually... Suspected Gas Issue.

99EX with y8

Car starts to crank over but it wont start on the first second or third try.
After you pump the pedal for the gas alot during the first tries at about the 4th or 5th try it will start. It gets really shaky until it finally catches on.

Once the car has ran for more then five minutes it will start just fine over and over again.

Main Relay is clicking.
Spark is fine.
No Check Engine Codes.
Car runs great once started.

If I have the pedal floored and Crank it the car will stutter hard but It will turn on.

If you had a 1970's car, I guess the choke is stuck.

As you can see, none of us have a clue.

Have you talked to one of the tuners here ?

Or it sounds like it's not getting enough gas, yet it starts fine the rest of the day...

Do you have a stock fuel map ?

Thank you for responding.

I read the turbo mag just the other day with your feature

Yes its my sisters car it is completly stock.

I even hooked up one of my Fuel Pressure guages and the pressure is good to the (new) fuel filter.

Could it be the timing Belt jumped a tooth?

if your not getting enough fuel. then it could be your fuel pump not producing enough pressure. or it could be your filter that is clogged. or your injectors not spraying correctly.. and leaking thus causing it to not ignite. so your flooding the block. could be a lot of stuff.. maybe get to more details so people can know what your dealing with. also.. your starter could be F'd up since your cranking and cranking but not getting it to turn over..

but it doesnt make sense. Like I said ill floor it and bitch will start.

FPG reads at like 36psi or so. Once the car is running its perfect its just the start.

Replaced fuel filter.
