factory hids O_O? wtf

your highbeams are the the same as what the DRLs are. Just dim when your driving around then when you turn them on they are at full power

An even better question, is if there is a way to turn those off but still function under high beam? That **** is wack when you're trying to chill at the local illegal street "cough cough" spot and people are asking you to turn em off and you can't....stupid DLR...

We don't need to see the bulb, we need to see your headlights...and I doubt it's HIDs.

Sorry it took so long. The sticker is on the driver side door jamb on my 08' Si. its a bad cell phone picture but ill translate:

This vehicle may contain mercury containing devices installed by the manufacturer:
HIGH INTENSITY DISCHARGE HEADLAMPS
Navigation Display
Back-Lit Instruments
Overhead Mounted Video Display
Remove devices before vehicle disposal.
Upon Removal of Devices
Please Reuse, Recycle, or Dispose
as Hazardous Waste

thats probably just a sticker they put on all hondas/acuras and saying as some hondas and all acuras have HID's, thats probably why its listed on the sticker. Cause does ur car have the navigation unit?, and I know it doesn't have the Overhead Mounted Video Display. So just cause it's listed on the sticker doesn't mean ur car has it.

Look at your first line,

This vehicle MAY include mercury containing devices installed by the manuf. - then lists all the possibilities, they probably use the same sticker on Acuras (that do have factory HID's) and S2000s (that do have factory HID's). You received that sticker because you have navigation, not because of HID's.

Other than those vehicles Honda does not make a car with factory HID's. Period.
