Default broken valve stem

ok so i was driving to work today and i got a flat. i threw the donut on and got to work only a few mins late. so i decided to check out where the leak was on my break and found out it was leaking from the side of the valve stem. so i went and bought a new one and went to install it and the old one broke when i pulled on it and the bottom half fell inside the tire. i couldn't get the piece out of the tire so decided to just leave it for now. installed the new valve stem and pumped up the tire. i would like to know if this is a bad idea to drive with this piece of the valvle stem inside the tire? should i go to a shop and get them to remove one side of the tire to remove the piece? anyone ever had this happen to them?

you shouldnt have any problems with it but since it seems like you dont have the best of luck, i would go get it taken out before somethin else happens lol(those damn black clouds they suck)GL

the stem has to be removed from inside the tire, and the new one should have been pulled through the back as well, not sure how you got it in there from the front. I would have them take the tire off and fix it

Thats what I'm thinking.

you can break the bead with a 2x4 to install a valve stem, but with only the bead broken it is damn near impossible to get a hand in and try to ****** the lil black rubber thing. I wouldn't call it unlucky either, valve stems do break, that's why they should be replaced with the tires. It's also cheaper than replacing a tire.

No harm will come of it, might hear it bouncing around, but I doubt it.

i work at a tire place and have seen people driving around with alot more than the bottom of a valve stem in their tire...pliers and such..so its not a big deal that its in there it wont hurt anything, might cause a small vibration but i doubt it. just go to a tire place and ask if theyll replace it. we never even charge when people have broken ones.
