should be on top of the tranny close to the fire wall. should have a cable coming out of it. The cable should lead toward the cluster area on the fire wall.

I have never had any problems locating the speed sensor in any of my efs. the cable comes out from the middle of the fire wall and leads to the tranny directly under the intake. pretty easy to see and fairly easy to get to reach.

uh what? on 88-91 d-series cable transmissions, the speedo cable goes into the speed sensor on top of the transmission, and the speed sensor can be removed via 2 bolts.

There IS a gear inside the transmission on the diff housing, but you don't need to change it to swap to an electronic vss.

If I read correctly, its not a D series, it is an S1 = B series....but yeah, its in the same spot. On the back of the trans, directly under the throttle body.

Not hard at all to find, follow the cable.
