hey guys, im getting frustrated, 91 crx si, when i start my car after its been off for a few hours, i have to prime it 4-5 times by turning the key on and off, or it will just crank and not start. if its only been off for an hour or less it starts right up...
it is getting spark...
its obviously not getting enough fuel to the motor, i just dont know why. im thinking there could be a pin hole somewhere in the fuel line allowing it to suck in air? the tank was replaced recently before i got the car.

help please!

 

your main (fuel pump) relay is probably bad. You can pull it out, test it, and resolder it to fix the problem with the part you have, or just buy a new one, which is more expensive than just repairing the one you have.

 

already replaced the main fuel relay.....

 

a fuel pressure guage is what you need then.. Does it do it with a full tank of gas?

 

mine does it when I'm on empty, but not when full. What does that mean?

it does it regardless how much fuel i have full 3/4 half and close to empty.....
im just out of ideas....
well i couldnt really come up with ideas to start....
