Default test fitting...

I did a small test fitting of my rims to check offset before the final assembly when the last component of my suspension arrives in a few days... The rims are Forged Monoblock Ray Engineering RE30's in 17x8 with a +40 offset. Tires are 615 Azenis @ 245-45-17

The OEM rims and tires weight in at 55 lbs... this combo weights in at 40 lbs. The loss of 15 lbs of unsprung weight in combination with the fact that the overall circumference is about and inch less resulted in a much much quicker turn in and very quick effortless direction changes when compared to a car being that is equipped with OEM tires and Rims. The 245 45 series tires are meaty and one could actually go a bit wider in the rear than the 8.5" I have... I would dare to say 9.5" to 10" if you wanted a rim that wide. The fronts are about perfect at 8.5"

Not many people usually downsize. But I like the look.
