Issue with brakes.. replaced rear caliper
Hey guys.. need some ideas..
The other day the piston boot on my RL caliper busted and brake fluid was pouring out of it.. So I went and bought a replacement. Got it installed and everything hooked back up. So I started the bleeding process going RR, FL, RL, FR..
On every other caliper than the new one, everything bled fine.. air spurted then fluid flowed out until I tightened back the bleeder screw. But on the new one, a tad of fluid and air spurted, then the fluid stopped completely. I tried bleeding this caliper about 6 times, before double checking the hose for leaks and making sure there was no dirt clogging the bleeder screw or brake hose...
I have almost went through a liter of fluid, and still can't get the rear caliper piston to tighten up on the pads..
Is there something else I should try?
My next idea is to bench bleed the MC, because I did forget and left the end of the hose open while I ran to advance to get the new caliper.. So I think maybe a ton of air might have gotten into the system. I'm open to try anything.. I need to get my car back on the road ASAP..

After fooling with the damn thing forever, I decided I need to try another caliper.. So I took it back and got a new one.. I'm going to try this one tonight. I figured it wouldn't hurt anything..
