Default Bye Bye F4i Hello new bike

Just got back from picking this up last night only rode maybe 15 miles all together. Didnt really want to sell my f4i but guy came up with the money and i talked these guys down to 4600 cash. its a 04 with 12,200 miles mint condition just a windscreen and two brothers exhaust for mods. Overall feel is different than the f4i more aggressive and seat is not as comfortable. Overall i think its a good pick up considering i wanted a 03-06 for a long time.

Nice upgrade. I had an '03 F4i and my buddy had an '04 RR. Riding stance is definitely more aggressive. He let me ride it several times and it just makes me want to take corners more faster. Then I got back on my bike and it felt like I was riding a tricycle. Ha haha.

Congrats. Looks very clean and rather untouched for an 03-04

BTW What did you get for your F4i? Just curious.

I got 3700 for the f4i. So i only had to add 900 to get this bike. I still haven't got a chance to ride it like i want to. I will get some riding in this weekend.

Is there a noticeable power difference between the two? What about brakes? Let us know what differences you notice.

I was told by the dealer that in the 1/4 the f4i was faster than the RR similar in years..

That is what i am thinking in striaght line speed my f4i felt faster. The sprokects and other little mods i had on that bike might be the reason I feel this way. At the same time the handling and braking on this bike is much better than my other bike.

I have this same bike almost exactly with 18.5k miles. Good condition I would let go for around $4,300.

The F4i has more midrange power and will turn a 1/4 mile faster than an RR. The RR is lighter and more balanced, which makes it more suitable for track duty. If you changed your sprockets on your F4i, you'd really notice the power difference.
