Default Best header for ls/v-tec in crx?????

What header fits the best for ls/v-tec in crx with hasport mounts? I have the LS oil pan. Trying to keep it close as I can to the motor. Thinking about DC just need to know what one to get.

The DC sports JDM Type R one works well, I think. Especiallt for what its modelled after. Allthough the flanges are different, and you would have to do cutting/welding to get them to match up to the rest of the exhaust..

I just mean the flange is funny. If you're getting/fabricating a new exhasut, hell, I'd recommend it. The 4-1's are gonna stick out a tiny bit lower than the 4-2-1 but I like mine.

I'm using a JDM 4-1 header and as long as you put a shield then its not too bad. Top end power is really noticeable..

the jg header is not worth the money in my opinion, that is a lot of money for something with a little 2" collector. also, going into an EF, you will have to cut off the front of the flange on the manifold/ downpipe joint to avoid completely cutting your front crossmember any further. i would do a JDM DC 4-1 with the 2.5" collector, and a 2.5" exhaust all the way back. go custom and just use a magnaflow or whatever muffler in the stock configuration. very nice top end power.

Ya SMSP, TODA, HYTECH are great.

And BTW...the http://www.imporbuilders.com MODDED JG header with a 2.5" Collector makes more power than a ITR header/DC "JDM" header.

I think you should read up on some of the headers man. In the one of the Super Street mags, they did a header test. you should check it out, i don't know what issue it was or if it was the Sport Compact Car mag., but i don't think they were lying. Anyways, some of those headers had an overall gain of NEGATIVE horsepower, with DC being the best overall, comparing to the stock manifold. Mugen i think had the best top end but overall wasn't so good. go with your

Its up to you man, but the 4-1 headers hang low on "EF's". So if you dont mind scrapping that money away get a 4-1.

my car is low and I drive it on the street and use it alot for track events. Trying to keep it up high as I can. Also beating the front crossmember up does not sound real cool. Going to but the motor in it this weekend so I should get a better idea how much room I have.
