Default tranny mount

i've got a 1999 B18 and would like to know if a 91 B18a1 tranny would bolt up

and if the Stock tranny mount would let it drop right in to my 91 STD hatch?

Yes, any B series engine will bolt up to any B series transmission, But you need swap mounts to put it in your civic, you cannot use the stock mounts.

I'm not super familiar with the american models, but the STD came with a 4 speed didn't it? If so, you'll have to swap to the bigger spline hub if you plan on using B series axles, which is a must.

i think you can use the stock drivers side mount but the tranny mount puts the motor too close to the firewall in back and wont allow you to put your axles in.

just the the tranny mount won't work.

as for the hubs i've already swapped for GSR big brakes long ago, as i already knew of that little problem.

and i swapped the back mount with one from a 94 integra and i've already swapped

a b-series motor into a si hatch using the same mount, but i had the hasport diverside and tranny side mounts to help out.

so no go on the stock tranny mount then.

If so do they just sell the tranny mount by itself?
