Default front tranny mount: reuse civic 2 bolt, b series 3 bolt

Has anyone had problems with this? I know many people re-use the civic mount and only put two screws in, but the OEM b series (at least b16a2) have three screws through the front mount. I was told that when going to high hp, I may run the risk of cracking the tranny casing by only running 2 bolt. Can anyone verify/dismiss this? THanks..

I would use the mount that your tranny was intended to use. I think the civic bolt pattern is in a L shape and the teg is in a triangle shape. I don't even think it will bolt up.

Use the B-series mount. Chances are you could get by, but don't skimp on stuff like that. Weak mounts put stress on all the other mounts and cause them to fail which is bad.
