anyone have 'vtec killer' cams on their itr?
if so, how do they work and how did they get their name?
my cousin is looking for some cams for his 98 itr and is thinking about spec b's for a daily driven R.
all input would be helpful.

Killer cams basically constantly keep vtec engaged because thats basically all the lobes it has.
I think its a bad idea on a daily driven car, vtec timing, and non vtec timing are seperate for a reason.

I beleive it eliminates all VTEC related parts and always stays on the primary lobes. It is for track only cars and is used to lower the weight thus the power loss. It can be used on track cars because they never see low RPM and thus driveabilty is not a concern.

I think somebody also makes a setup that converts the rocker arms to roller-rockers for reduced friction in the valvetrain, as well as removing the VTEC lobe and making the other lobes the same size as the VTEC lobes.
i thin your referring to ferrea. Crane makes some cams to go with it. Im wondering if the vtec killer cams would work with the ferrea components?
