Default speed limiter?.

I have a 91 hatch w/ b16. When I first got the car it would burry the speedometer at 125. Now it hits 110 and acts like its hitting a limiter. What could cause this to start happening?

Thats a governor all jdm ecus have it.
My b16a stops at 110-115 and bogs down then goes again till about 110-115 then bogs down again.

Now OP are you talking post swap or did this just start happening?

Have you made any changes at all what so ever since this started?

When I bought the car it already had the swap done... and at the time i bought it it would pass 110mph. the night i bought it i took it to the track and me and my buddys always act retarted on the interstate on the way there. we roll about 80 or 90 and speed off from each other and ****. and that night my car went way past 125. but last time i tried this it stopped me at 110 and it was pissin me off cause i was playin around with a mustang gt on the hiway on the way back from the track. i would stay in front of him and pull on him until i got to 110 then he would pass me. all i have done to the car is fix a temperature sensor, but anyway yeah i know its not real safe to go that fast in a hatch but i jus cant figure out why it never did this before and it does it now.
