not at all. JDM is stuff imported from the Japan Domestic Market. you just cant buy an APC carbon fiber shift **** and call it JDM.

I know what JDM means....but it also represents the "clean" look and not over doing it. I guess I am asking if you guys think that cf is over doing it. I see a lot of cars that would be JDM if they didn't have a cf hood.....opinions?

Dang. I am just trying to ask a question and everyone's talking ****. Maybe this will make it a little easier for all the people that are taking the question the wrong way. If you want to make your car look JDM, would you put a cf hood or anything cf for that matter on your freaking car?

don't get butt hurt, if it's imported in from Japan then it would be JDM. If you are refering to the new obsessive trend "JDM", then expect to hear some **** talkin...cause that's basically what your asking for.

I guess I just didn't phrase the question correctly. I dont' mean the trend...I'm not a APC fan., believe me. Although, I have to admit here in SD, it's getting really bad with the 'Fast and the Furious' look. I just want my car to be presentable..not primered like all my friends. I have a SiR front end, but my hood got banged up thanks to my little son and some rocks. Now I just want to see what my options are. I can't find the hood only so I was thinking about getting a cf hood and save me the hassle.

i have a VIS carbon hood... it looks nice
makes me feel good...
if i had a spoon or mugen carbon fiber hood, i think it would be
"JDM"
