anyone recomend a stage 2 clutch?
i have a 93 civic hatch cx with a jdm d15b and unfortunatly the cx trans still...so it falls on its face in 3rd gear. anyways i need a new clutch. mines next to gone. im just seeing if anyone recommends a name brand stage 2 clutch and flywheel.
is it your daily driver? b/c if it is, get a " streetable" clutch. i have a stage 1 exedy for the time being and it does jsut fine with an 8 lb flywheel from ACT. but mine is car is swapped so i decided to upgrade from the stock one anyways
the flywheel i got from a buddy that was 150, and the clutch was about 250. so a stage 1 would do just fine. u dont wanna get out of your car later and have your left leg that is absolutley huge from putting in a ridiculous clutch. lol

"streetable is kind of a relative term" i actually know a girl who runs a 6 puck stage 3 clutch and aluminum flywheel in a '92 hatch as a daily driver, it has yet to see the track in the 2 years its been in there and she has no problems with it driving in traffic. I know someone else that ran a stage 3 clutch + aluminum flywheel in DOHC ZC '95 hatch, the guy ran that as his daily driver too and it didn't bother him, i drove it before and honestly i didn't find it that much worse than an OEM clutch. Besides those strong leg muscles are great for kicking thieves in the ***

ya. especially the theives. lol. i know "streetable" is a relative term. ive never really driven anything else other than my car and an oem clutch. it also depends if its sprung or unsprung too
Exedy.
I Run a stage 2 exedy daily and 8 pound flywheel and there's no problem once you know how to use it. Feels like stock now.
But get a Exedy, Proven product.

**** forget stage 2. Id go stage 3. Like that thiefs won't be able to drive away with your **** cuz, they won't be able to drive it. Ha ha.
But seriuosky I run a stage 3 clutch with a 7lb flywheel and it revs more freely. I like it don't bother me. But to be honest I hate hills cuz sometimes my POS turns of on me. Damm stage3.
