EK SideSKIRTS on eg ?
I believe you have to cut about 2 inches from the front parts of the side skirts so that they'll fit on an EG. Personally I think EK side skirts look nice because of the way they flare out.
Looks great, yes you have to cut some off the front. If your going to have them painted. Just let the body shop cut them and install them.
Have you seen photo's or cars with them?
rota92's yellow car has them.

ya i heard you didnt have to cut them on a coupe so i tried on my hatch and i had to cut about 2in and i did the cut myself so i just got EK mudflaps for the front to cover it and it looks pretty sikk the EG flaps are round and the skirts were more sqaure/straight so the EG flaps looks a little weird cuz they had a gap

Si sideskirts are exactly the same in construction as any other USDM '96-'00 Civic coupe or hatch sideskirt. Only the Si ones come painted standard. The other cars had them painted as an option.
Don't feel bad cutting them. It's not like they're rare.

if you cut the front, the inner well cover should conceal a good amount of the hole. cutting it down the middle takes more work, money and time. and if it bothers you too much, mudguards are 60 at dealerships

Yeah that's the difference in halfassed looking skirts and OEM quality.

I wish somebody in this thread used a search engine.
Hatchbacks - cut approximately 2" off the front, redrill most mounting holes.
Coupes - don't cut, redrill most mounting holes.
Modify EG mudflaps if that's the route you choose to go; EK/EM will not work.

the above comment is exactly right.
its not hard to cut and fold the front of the skirt for the hatch either. there is only a little cut mark on mine right now and you can barely see it. a little fiber glass and or bondo and it would be flawless. i am just kindof lazy right now
