seat belt alarm
I'm looking at buying a 1991 Civic DX four door. The seatbelt alarm is going off constantly and the light stays on in the cluster. The passenger side belt receptacle is stuck in the forward position on the door track. I think it's a fairly common problem...Anyone have any experience with this? I would not mind fixing the receptacles in the back driving position.
I dont know if this helps at all or really what the main problem was but on my CRX when i got it the passenger seat belt alarm would go off when i had someone sitting in it with the seatbelt in only when i put my foot on the brakes and i loked at the fuse box and there was a penny in place of a fuse and another fuse was missing and another had the wrong size fuse and i replaced them all and it now works fine
i have a quick fix. it works with crx si's.
1. sit in your driver seat.
2. look up left to the rear view mirror
3. pop off the cap
4. unscrew the 3 screws
5. see the electric connector!
6. unplug
7. screw back in, cap back on
8. = the sex
edit: i know its not a "fix" but who cares really, you have common sense right? u know when ur seat belt is on and off, dont let the car determine that lol
