My motor came in a few days ago, and I still have some questions.
On top of the transmission there are three holes for studs [where the mount would go], yet there are only two studs.. The transmission mount has three holes, but see this link:
http://www.acuraautomotivepart...ormal
It's illustrated as part number 24, and it says it only requires two studs. God, I'm confused.
Also.. This might be pretty ignorant.. but where do these two engine brackets go exactly? The HAsport instructions weren't really clear on where they should go:
Thanks in advance, guys

Tranny mount is held by 3 bolts.
The L bracket goes on the the back of the motor connecting to the rear mount.
Not to sure what the other thing is
Hope this helps a little.

The third hole is for a bolt and nut provided by you.

The big T shape one is the rear tranny/motor mount. But if it's from a GSR, you can't use it in an EF, you need to get one from the DA integras (90-93).
I believe the other smaller one is the driver's side motor mount bracket.

Thanks in advance, guys</TD></TR></TABLE>i was a little confused about the tranny mount also when i got my motor and hasport kit as hasport has 2 diffrent instructions about installing it. it all depends on what hasport kit you recieved. if you have 2 self locking nuts then those 2 nuts go on the tranny studs, and one bolt goes to the third hole in the tranny. if you have the other kit (the one that advises you to remove one of the studs) then you should have 2 tranny bolts and 1 selflocking nut. which you would have to remove one stud using the double nut method and use the bolt provided in place of the stud. Also, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE RIGHT KIT, whether your tranny is hydro or cable makes a big diffrence with these kits. the top of the T bracket is the part with the nut welded on it. it bolts through the tanny and connects it to the rear mount. the other bracket bolts to the engine itself (the side with the 3 hole bolt under the timing belt cover.) meaning you have to remove the stock bracket that came on the engine (drivers side mount bracket). hope this helps
