Hello, I just moved from Arizona to Minnesota and this state requires a front license plate...which I don't have a bracket for. Does anybody know how to get one of these that doesn't cost $70 at the dealer?

I've been looking all over the internet to no avail, and have even called around to junkyards to see what they could do. Does anybody have any experience using something other than the standard bracket?

Did you scour ebay and many of the online dismantlers? I am sure you can find one for less than 70$

Look for parts netwroks that willbe able to do a nationwide search for you. and keep your eyes open on ebay

 

if i wasn't going to have a hole from the bracket removal, i'd sell you mine.

i don't have a legal need for it here in TN

You can't see the bolt holes. They are under the bumper. Louisiana doesn't require front plates, so I removed mine. No mount holes visible. If you happen to come by the deep south, I'll give you my bracket.

 

so the bolt in the middle of the plate holder won't leave a hole?

Careful now... the late gen accords don't need that center hole for plate placement. as a matter of fact they advise against it on the gen 8 accords.
